The paper titled “Toward smart carbon capture with machine learning” is now published at Cell Reports Physical Science. In this perspective paper, we reveal how machine learning implementations have improved the carbon capture process in many aspects, for both absorption- and adsorption-based approaches, ranging from the molecular to process level.
